The 6 God made a big announcement on New Year’s Eve.

While most artists would be performing a Grammy nominated song for their rest of their careers, Drizzy decided to retire one of his most popular songs. During his performance at Hakkasan in Las Vegas, he announced that he will no longer be performing his hit record, “Back to Back.”

He didn’t go into too much detail about the reasons behind his decision, but he did leave the crowd with some inspiring words about success. He told the New Year’s crowd, “If people do the most left field, fucked up shit to try and tear you down, you still gotta win no matter what…That’s the whole key about this shit. So I’ma do this song, and this is the last time I’m ever going to do this song…Winning by any means necessary, and when you win, please do it gracefully in 2017. That’s my message to you.”

You can watch the last and final performance of “Back to Back” below. Woahhh.
