Additionally, there are numerous myths about scholarships. One of those various legends is that grades and SAT scores are the only factors you need to worry about for winning scholarships. In reality, having good grades and high SAT scores are definitely important. However, there needs to be participation and some type of extracurricular activity such as a club or sport, and as well as involvement in the community to win scholarships.
 Also showing participation and involvement in a student résumé and an essay will help.</description>
