Money handling is just how maturity expresses itself. I can't imagine have kids with guy who won't take on even the barest level of responsibility for himself. An anonymous sperm donor would be alot cleaner. Also, it's a little misleading to say that 50% of all marriages end in divorce. Couples with a college education and/or marry slightly later in life tend to stay married - (20% or less divorce rate). Very young couples and serial spouses tend to skew the statistic quite a bit.
