Lisa Montanarelli is a freelance writer, editor, and longtime environmentalist based in New York City. Self-employed for 10 years, she has co-authored three nonfiction books. The First Year – Hepatitis C: An Essential Guide for the Newly Diagnosed, which Lisa co-authored with Cara Bruce, was such a success that they produced a thoroughly revised second edition, including the latest medical advances, in 2007.
Lisa’s features, profiles, news stories, and reviews appear in a variety of publications, including San Francisco Chronicle, San Francisco Bay Guardian, Art and Antiques Magazine, Agence France-Presse, Publishers Weekly, and California Literary Review. As a freelance editor and marketing consultant, she has helped more than 100 authors improve their writing, as well as the content, structure, and salability of their books.
