<description>Well said! Brilliant post. Yes,I should point out by international experience and logic that you should learn a language because of an interest in the country, culture, people or literature.
Also, economically a country can change and anyway,if we take the example of China they will go trough pollution cleaning, freeways building, kitchen appliances needs, taxes to be obeyed, better employment conditions…economically they will partly crash and their language will just stay there, make no mistake. Now,if you like Chinese culture, art or so on,study it. if you want to work there,do it too. If not? What is the need?
To finish, pay attention folks as this is true! A language is as good as its fluidity. English is fluid. French,Spanish,German somehow…Chinese? Yeah,we hear much songs, new words, sitcom in Chinese internationally…not! Chinese is not fluid,so be careful…Tones,Chinese writing and use are not fluid. That does not mean it is not an interesting and rich language. One does not take the other!
